The PGA Championship heads to Delaware County’s Aronimink Golf Club from May 11 to 17, 2026, when over 150 professional golfers hit the links for four days of play.
One of the four major men’s golf tournaments — in addition to the Open Championship, the Masters Tournament and the U.S. Open — the event has seen A-list champions like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Jack Nicklaus.
The tournament draws hundreds of thousands of fans eager to watch all the action and 2026 is no different, as 200,000 spectators are expected to attend.
The pristine greens at Aronimink Golf Club are the perfect backdrop for the 2026 PGA Championship. The club first hosted the tournament in 1962, as well as the Women’s PGA Championship in 2020.

The first three days of the championship are dedicated to practice rounds, where players can play at their discretion. The following four days are when the real action starts, with first- and second-round groupings on Thursday and Friday and championship rounds on Saturday. The champion is awarded on Sunday.
Aside from the main event, spectators have plenty to do and see on the course. Expect a shopping area with merchandise and apparel from the likes of Nike, Ralph Lauren, Adidas, Cutter & Buck, Under Armour, Vineyard Vines and more. Also on the docket: whiskey and wine lounges and plenty of concessions.
Tickets for the 2026 PGA Championship are now available.
Complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the event are included with your ticket, and ticketed adults can bring up to two kids (ages 15 and under) for free each day.
Please note that Championship+ Grounds Tickets for the tournament’s main events on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are sold out; however, verified resale tickets are available through SeatGeek.
Championship+ Grounds Tickets for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s practice rounds are still up for grabs, as are a limited number of Championship+ Weekly Grounds Tickets and Daily Club PGA Hospitality Tickets. Please note: No walk-up tickets will be available.
U.S. military members are eligible for a limited number of complimentary tickets for themselves and a guest beginning in fall 2025. Check the official website for more information.
The first PGA Championship was held in 1916, and the event was held every year save for 1917, 1918, 1919 and 1943, due to World War I and World War II. The winner is awarded the coveted Wanamaker Trophy, named after Philly-born department store operator Rodman Wanamaker (of Wanamaker’s fame, naturally).
